For the 4th time our shool celebrated Korea's Foundation Day (Gaecheonjeol - 개천절). The national foundation day commemorates the founding of the Korean nation in 2333 B.C. by the legendary god-king Dangun. On October 7th the Intercultural Arts Club (and All.Ways group) from Almodôvar's highschool organized an activity to once again bring to the school community a bit of the Korean culture in all its aspects.
Teachers Paula, Sofia and Sónia, together with the students from the Club and other students from the school, put together this event to celebrate one of the most important days for the korean people.
Members of the school community had the opportunity to learn how to write their name in hangul, to participate in traditional games and to contact the gastronomic, historical, cultural and entertainment culture that Korea has to offer.
Hope you'll like this activity and keep supporting us!
Thank you!
